## **How markets and neighborhoods work**

  
When we launch a location, we organize it into two levels.

A **market** is the wider area, usually a city or a well-known vacation destination. Within each market are smaller **neighborhoods**, which are the sub-areas inside it. Barcelona, for example, is a market, and within it are neighborhoods such as Las Ramblas and Barri Gòtic.

Every listing is placed in one neighborhood based on its address, and that placement is what connects your listing to the right local demand data.

*   Each neighborhood within a market behaves differently, so we price them differently. A downtown core and the suburbs around it won't share the same demand pattern.
*   Two of your listings in the same city can sit in different neighborhoods. That's intended, and it means each one is priced to its own local demand.
*   Our team of Revenue Managers puts every market through detailed analysis before we launch it, so you can be confident the pricing is accurate from day one.

  **Please note:** Your city name may not be the same as the market name you see in Beyond. We use hyper-local data and coordinates to ensure we have the right market for you, but the name may differ from the city name.

**Which market is my listing in?**

  
Your listings are automatically matched to a market using the address from your connected channel or Property Management System (PMS). You can see and filter by these on your Dashboard using the Market and Neighborhoods filters. Because the match is based on the address, a complete address gets your listing into the right market straight away. Make sure each listing has a **full address**, including **longitude** and **latitude**, in the account you've connected to Beyond.
