Beyond is excited to announce 'Power Factors'. An advanced feature for revenue managers looking to have more insight into the price changes that can be made in their portfolios in Beyond.

Gain confidence and further control of your account and what impacts your portfolio more intentionally with this revenue management strategy of Power Factors.

## What are the benefits of using Power Factors?

####
**With this feature, you can:**

* Apply percentage adjustments to final predicted prices.
* Powerful options for targeting listings including Market, Neighborhood, Bedrooms, Days of Week, and individual Listing targeting.
* Access to a log of created Power Factors makes it easy to understand what's applying and to edit and delete factors.
* A selected Power Factor name can be whatever you choose and will show on the calendar when you hover over the date(s).
* A notes field for adding context to the adjustment (which operates as a record on why the change was made).
* The ability to use Manual overrides on top of the Power Factor.

##
What is the difference between Manual Overrides and Power Factors?

While a Power Factor is similar in nature to a Manual Overrides, there are a couple of differences that make this feature unique!

* A centralized place to manage these factors including a log and the ability to easily edit or delete any factors created.
* The ability to name the Price Factor and add notes as to why they made the adjustment.
* Manual overrides can be applied on top of dates with a Power Factor applied.
* Multiple power Factors can overlap.
* Manual Overrides will be applied **last** in order of operation.

**Please note:** this is only available by feature flag, so it must be requested to be added to your account and approved by the Beyond team. This is for contracted users only, and specifically, revenue managers/portfolio managers who are aware of the inherent risks in having further control over pricing factors and understand the market fluctuations that you should be mindful of before making any changes.

    * Make sure to choose the right Market when making changes.
    * For further drilldown, choose a Neighborhood as well.

##

Can I apply multiple factors?

Yes! Multiple Power Factors can be applied to the same listings/dates and overlap.

This will be visible in the price factor hover on the calendar when you click on a listing. Factors will be separated out so you can see how they apply to your listing.

For example: if you have a factor that raises your pricing by 10% and lowers it by 15%, both will be visible in your listing breakdown (this will also be true even if you raise and lower by the same numeric value):
