What is Insights?

Insights was built to give you the key information you need to be your own best revenue manager, all in the Beyond platform. It makes tracking portfolio performance, troubleshooting, and taking action on this information easier than ever!

Insights includes information on occupancy, total revenue, average daily rate, and more. You can use filters to adjust the set of listings you are viewing data for, and you can analyze pacing and year-over-year trends.

The goal of insights is to help you understand how your property is performing, with comparisons that can help you understand if you may need to adjust your pricing strategy.

Toggles


Each Chart has a set of toggles that can be used to compare the previous two years, as well as the upcoming year.

You can also view how you were pacing, or how you were tracking for the upcoming year at this time last year, using the "Same time last year" toggle. This is handy to compare against the "This Year" option to see if your pacing is consistent with the previous year.

Viewing Your Data


Using Insights, you can aggregate and analyze data differently depending on your preferences. 

You can aggregate data Daily, Weekly or Monthly using the buttons on the top right of each chart. 

You can view data over the following timeframes: Next 12 months, Next 3 months, Year to date, or by Calendar year using the dropdown menu located in the filter bar on the top of the page.

Filters


You can filter your Insights to view different groups of listings and compare them to others. Simply click the "More" button on the top right. You can filter by:

  1. Number of bedrooms
  2. PMS/Channel (e.g. Vrbo or Airbnb)
  3. Market
  4. Include or exclude specific listings
  5. Compare the performance of certain listings against others
  6. Booked at date
  7. Price Posting & availability status

To reset each filter, you can press the "Reset" button next to it. If you would like to reset all filters, simply click "Clear all".
