Seasonal Pacing is adjustments in pricing in the next 90 days based on year-over-year market seasonal demand. Think of it as the deviation in market occupancy by either an increase or a decrease in demand forecasted for this year compared to historical seasonal trends. Seasonal Pacing reduces the number of times you will need to change your Base Price based on seasonal changes in your market.

**Why is Seasonal Pacing important?**

  
The Seasonal Pacing factor is implemented to align your portfolio of properties with market trends and help save time by reducing the amount of Base Price changes needed to maintain healthy occupancy pacing as it relates to changes in seasonal demand trends.

Seasonal Pacing is even more important now with falling demand and occupancy in certain markets and is automatically applied to ensure you don't miss out on the best prices in line with market occupancy.

**Identify the Seasonal Pacing factor in my daily prices**

  
The Seasonal Pacing factor is identified by the item "Prices increased/decreased due to year-over-year market performance”. This can be found in your property's calendar in your daily rates breakdown by hovering over each date:

Also, Seasonal Pacing takes into account future rates compared to the previous year so it will never suggest lower daily prices in periods of high season for example.
