Do you manage listings on Barefoot or considering managing your listing on this Property Management Software (PMS)? Beyond connects with Barefoot and sends rates.

**Please note:** As a first step, make sure you have created a Beyond account to connect your OTA/PMS to. Simply sign up [here](https://v2.beyondpricing.com/create-account/pricing) to get started!

**Connecting your account**

This is an assisted integration. Please fill out your information using the [**Connect your Barefoot Account Form**](https://app.beyondpricing.com/dashboard/connect/assisted/barefoot), and our team will help you get your account all set up.

Once you have heard from our team, you can follow the steps below:

1. Please create a user for Beyond so that we can access your account. Please use the following details:

*   Username: BeyondPricing
*   Email: integrations@beyondpricing.com
*   Access Type: Manager

Please email us with the following information:

* The password that you used for the account you created for us.
*   Your company ID.

Enter the company ID of your Barefoot account into Beyond:

Next, you’ll need to let our team know that we need to create the Beyond Pricing Price Class in Barefoot.  You can access that by going to Catalog→2. Configure Package (Folio/Sales Types)→Price Classes:

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/8489a4c5f29e62a7a4b3a0962f69a5ca.png)

The Price Class is similar to a Season Group in that it is a collection of seasons (in our case, 365 seasons) that you can then attach to a listing.  To view the season's setup in the Beyond Pricing Price Class, click the “Pricing” link:

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/9050a34f4a191677b2820870db65754e.png)

Here you will find a series of “Periods” that are basically the same as seasons:

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/d62a7c808a7a8b3f13c274be11e169c1.png)

Once we have created the Beyond Pricing Price Class and all of the Periods, you can select the first listing you want to enable price posting for.  You can search for properties by going to Properties→Search for Property:

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/a2e1a03b955b4d131d89aa69a7f13e77.png)

Click on the Property and then go to the Pricing page:

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/41a580c46813980d034656a225404758.png)

Here, you will also need to take note of any fees applied at the time of booking, including common ones like Cleaning Fees, Resort Fees, and Parking. To view the fees in Barefoot, scroll down on the Price Table until you get below the Rent section. See here for an example of Cleaning Fees:

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/03da95aa436c656284257fb2a880ab2b.png)

Fees can be set on an entire Catalog (i.e. the default pricing table which every unit is based on), the Price Class the unit is assigned to, or on the individual Unit’s Price Table, so make sure that if there are units that have fees per price class, or manual overrides (highlighted in yellow), that those fees carry over when switching the unit to Beyond Pricing’s price class, as instructed in the next few steps. Here’s an example of fees that are set on a price class:

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/bf014b0f011482c91a846cfce31dc262.png)

This is important to note because the fees are not included in the price table export you will be performing, so make sure you capture these BEFORE changing the Price Class to “Beyond Pricing”, in case they don’t copy over.

1. For our first few integrations, we want to download their current Rate Table just to have a backup of their rates. You can export all rates at once, but it will take a while. Please be patient. In order to export all rates, please go to the top menu “Catalogs” and then click “Export all the property price” as shown below.

This is a really important step, so make sure that you have exported the rate table and have a copy of it.

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/e01f3ec59ae4cad9572969aa98d3dc2d.png)

Go back to the Property page (or click “Property Info").  Next, you’ll want to change the Price Class to the Beyond Pricing Price Class.

You need to make sure you’re ready to enable price posting before doing this step.

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/feef28b885f50de7528e7f37734052dd.png)

If you go back to the Pricing page, you should now see the old Periods (with prices) as well as the new Periods.

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/61dee36dbe4ea7650cfbef275df6a82d.png)

Now you’re ready to turn on Price Posting in Beyond.  Once you do, all of the daily Periods will fill with the prices from Beyond.

As the last step, you should delete any future Periods that are leftover from the old Price Class (they will be the ones that aren’t a single day long). Barefoot does this so that if you switch Price Classes, you won’t be left with no rates. However, now that you’ve enabled price posting and we have prices for every future date, you can delete the old periods.

Already connected directly to Airbnb, Vrbo, or [Booking.com](http://booking.com/)? Disable Price Posting for any Beyond listings connected to those channels if Barefoot is pushing prices to them. [**Please see our guide for transitioning from a direct connection to Barefoot.**](https://support.beyondpricing.com/en_us/how-do-i-transition-from-connecting-directly-via-airbnb-vrbo-and-booking.com-to-connecting-via-a-pms-S1pqvror_)

##
**Adding a new listing**

Launching a new Barefoot listing is easy. If the listing is brand new to Barefoot, please first ensure that the ilink configuration within the property settings in Barefoot is set to "ilink Booking" in the Entry & WiFi Codes section

Next, you will need to assign the property to the Beyond Pricing Pricing Class in Barefoot:

![](https://files.helpdocs.io/8INznJLQCw/articles/h26diqub56/1599160400329/barefoot.png)

If a new listing is created/added on Barefoot, you must explicitly "enable" the listing for the API to have access to its data. Follow the instructions in the [**“Add properties to an existing period for reservation access”**](https://agent.barefoot.com/NewAccount/ConfigPartner.htm) article. Here is how to do that: Go to Settings > Settings > Partner settings

![](https://files.helpdocs.io/8INznJLQCw/articles/h26diqub56/1599161068010/barefootadd-1.png)

![](https://files.helpdocs.io/8INznJLQCw/articles/h26diqub56/1599161078522/barefootadd-2.png)

Select Beyond Pricing on "Partner", then hit Search Property (the little monitor is the button):

![](https://files.helpdocs.io/8INznJLQCw/articles/h26diqub56/1599161218937/bardfs.png)

Then scroll down a bit and then click the checkbox to select all, then again put Beyond Pricing on the partner and hit the save button:

![](https://files.helpdocs.io/8INznJLQCw/articles/h26diqub56/1599161306009/barefoots.png)

Now go back and select again partner Beyond Pricing and hit the "Create XmlConfig" button for all the actions to be saved:

![](https://files.helpdocs.io/8INznJLQCw/articles/h26diqub56/1599161430451/dcc.png)

Lastly hit OK on the alert popup:

![](https://files.helpdocs.io/8INznJLQCw/articles/h26diqub56/1599161482800/ddd.png)

After that, new listings and other changes made in Barefoot will show up automatically when we refresh your account once per day. To have a new listing or any other changes in Barefoot show up quickly, simply refresh your account in your [**Connected Accounts**](https://beyondpricing.com/dashboard/user/accounts) tab like this:

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/548a67208d2e5c00867fcf2d7453646e.gif)

It can take up to 24 hours for your new listing to show if you don't refresh your account in Beyond. [**Click here**](https://support.beyondpricing.com/en_us/why-aren't-new-bookings-changes-to-reservations-blockedunblocked-dates-or-new-listings-showing-up-in-beyond-pricing-rkZgwSjHu) to learn more about when we refresh your account and why.

##
**Pass-Through Expenses**

How are you currently paying for Beyond? Is it coming out of your commission, or are you passing it on to guests? Barefoot allows for additional fees to be added to all listings or on specific listings. This makes the setup and configuration of Pass-Through in Barefoot very straightforward. To add an additional fee, follow the steps below.

From the Settings Menu, choose Service Map:

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/958323bcc550ea3d407a68c4d8bd833b.png)

Add New Map:

For Pass Through, give it a name like Technology Fee or Booking Fee: Apply to Tenant, All Agents, Regular reservation type > **Save**.

To apply Pass Through to a set of Properties or all Properties, go to the Property List, click the dropdown menu for **Export to Excel**:

![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/d668c116912e5c6a6fa4fcec2f380ad8.png)

Click **Add Charge** or **Add BatchNewCharge**:

When applying Pass Through to a set of properties, there is the option to bill the Owner for this fee:

The next steps to the setup steps are as follows:

**Troubleshooting**

### **No Price Class**

* The priceclass of property #\_\_\_\_ is "None" and not "beyond pricing"

The Price Class is similar to a Season Group in that it is a collection of seasons (in Beyond's case, 365 seasons, because we post daily prices) that you can then attach to a listing in Barefoot.

1. You can access Price Classes by going to Catalog → 2. Configure Package (Folio/Sales Types) → Price Classes:

    ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/8489a4c5f29e62a7a4b3a0962f69a5ca.png)

2. To view the season's setup in the Beyond Pricing Price Class, click the “Pricing” link:

    ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/9050a34f4a191677b2820870db65754e.png)

3. Here you will find a series of “Periods” that are basically the same as seasons:

4. Once you've created the Beyond Pricing Price Class and all of the Periods, you can select the first listing you want to sync.
You can search for properties by going to Properties → Search for Property:

    ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/a2e1a03b955b4d131d89aa69a7f13e77.png)

5. Click on the Property and then go to the Pricing page:

    ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/41a580c46813980d034656a225404758.png)

7. Please make sure that you have exported the rate table and have a copy of it.

    ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/e01f3ec59ae4cad9572969aa98d3dc2d.png)

8. You need to make sure you’re ready to sync prices before doing this step.
Please go back to the Property page, and change the Price Class to Beyond Pricing.

    ![](https://cdn.kustomerhostedcontent.com/media/603e4c1ab69d9cd3c0b6f415/feef28b885f50de7528e7f37734052dd.png)

9. As the last step, you should delete any future Periods that are leftover from the old Price Class (they will be the ones that aren’t a single day long).  Barefoot does this so that if you switch Price Classes, you won’t be left with no rates.
However, now that you’ve synced and we have prices for every future date, you can delete the old periods.

10. Once the listing is ready to go on Barefoot, please let us know at [**support@beyondpricing.com**](mailto:support@beyondpricing.com). We will then be able to manually validate the listing from our end.

11. Once your listing has been validated, it will populate in your Beyond Dashboard, and you will be able to activate it for price posting.
